Keith Pitt

Keith was born into a local farming family in 1969. By that time, the Pitt and Roebuck families had been part of the Wide Bay-Burnett community for two generations.

An active member of the Hinkler community. Keith was a surf lifesaver for over ten years. Through his business, Eith supported a wide variety of local community groups and events. Keith also plays touch football and enjoys fishing when holidaying at the family’s Woodgate holiday home.

Keith has been an invaluable help to the Burrum Mens Shed in securing our new Shed.

 


 

 

James Hansen

Councillor James Hansen owns and operates a successful dairy farm at Boompa. He is married with five children. Cr Hansen is also no stranger to local government, having served a term as Councillor on the former Woocoo Shire Council before amalgamation.


 

 

Cr Denis Chapman

A 4th generation Chapman after his great grandfather settled a property at Bauple in 1850

Finishing High School in Maryborough and completing a trade at Walkers Ltd, he then transferred to the design office and later a construction supervision position as a senior technical advisor.

Opening his own business in Hervey Bay as a Registered Building Designer. 

Denis has been very involved with sporting groups in the Region representing A grade Rugby league, playing Touch Football, Basketball, and numerous horse groups. In addition to supporting Apex, Riding for Disable in Hervey Bay, Bauple Museum and Gundah Memorial Hall.
